"More of a comment than a review, FAB! In the context of the HC club history, we witnessed a work of unprecedented scholarly proportions. You could infer the Brains behind languages, portraiture of character and place, cross-cultural references, magnificently complex rhythms and harmonies, superbly executed vocal parts, polished stage craft... infact, the arrangement and composition of the entire thing. However, at the front end, the artist meets audience level, a totally accessible performance, so much so that the people who probably enjoyed it the most were the kids! Real talent, real sparkle and originality, a light uplifting touch, sex appeal and dance feel. The genie in the middle is Jewlia Eisenberg (Bjork comes to mind). To her left is Marika Hughes. To her right is Cynthia Talyor. They are the Charming Hostess. To hear them is to be educated and elated." - author Paul Chi
